Becky Schilling will portray Louise Bascom Barratt at this year’s “Walk in the Park.” Mrs. Barratt was the writer and artist whose family was memorialized at the Bascom-Louise Gallery and will be remembered at The Bascom, a Center for the Visual Arts. “Walk in the Park” is presented annually by the Highlands Historical Society as an entertaining means of teaching the Town’s history. Tomorrow and Saturday the “Walk” will take place at Memorial Park, with shuttles from the Community Center next to the ballpark beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday’s event will be at the Performing Arts Center on Chestnut Street beginning at 4 p.m. Tickets, available at Cyrano’s Bookshop or at the event, are $15 each with students admitted free.
